Removing Strange Weeds?

Hi Alll, First time poster, recently retired so more time to get in garden as I've worked for 44 years so I think I'm due a break - lol.

I have had this green growth overtaking my garden for years, and the only way I've found to remove it is by hand as normal weedkillers don't seem to work and I have a fruit garden as well as other plants/flowers etc that I'm afraid of haeming or even killing.
Does anyone know how to get rid of it?it is very small and grows in ever expanding clumps.

I have another weed I want to get rid of, and nobody I've spoken too knows how to get rid of that either, I will post that on a seperate post so as not to confuse the issue.

Thanks

I have learned to live with it and now quite like it!

If you have it growing in - say - a vegetable bed, you can starve it of light by covering it with cardboard or old carpet etc.  Otherwise, I'm afraid it's back to hand weeding... or learning to love it!
