Hello everyone,
What is happening to my tomatoes in the greenhouse??? The tomatoes outside do not suffer the same fate.

Blossom end rot? Inconsistent watering is often the reason, because it prevents the uptake of calcium.

Hello Fairygirl, sorry for the late reply. Your answer was very much appreciated. I can (now) understand it. During the very hot days I probably did not water often enough. Probably should have done several times a day. It was very hot in the greenhouse, even with windows and door wide open.

    No problem  :)
It might be worth getting some shading to help with excess sun/heat too, to prevent rapid drying out. That will help keep them on an even keel, especially if they're potted. Easier to keep watering more consistent in the ground.

My glasshouse is painted with coolglass early in the growing season, doesn't cut down much heat but stops the glaring sun.

    Coolglass reduces the glaring sun
