Pruning Star Jasmine

TamtamIITamtamII Posts: 5
Hi

I have a very large and we'll established star jasmine plant on the front of my house which is currently blooming. After it blooms, I was wondering how far back I could trim it, it's currently blocking about a 3rd of a path and I need to get a ladder there so I can do the top too.

Thanks

I cut off the long tendrils that make it look messy every year after it has flowered, they can be from 6inches to over 2 feet long.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
