I have one of the smaller hydrangea 'little lime' and it does well in a pot. The azaleas need mostly shade, ericaceous compost and rainwater plus feed after flowering. They set the flower buds for next year after flowering and keep the soil moist. You can see the flower buds on the 2nd pic.
The care is the key factor @Bijdezee. Enough moisture in late summer is always the tricky thing for azaleas/rhodos in containers, especially if they're in a sunny site, and/or if located in a drier part of the country. Easy for them to get dehydrated
The paniculatas are generally a bit more forgiving in pots because they can get cut back hard. Yours looks very good.
Gosh - your buds are coming away quite early there on the azalea. Much later here
