Lawn problem

Hi, my lawns are really badly infested with the mauve flower often called “self heal” which develops lateral roots.
Eight weeks ago had the lawns scarified, aerated and treated for moss together with weed and feed.....now the self heal is worse than ever.
Any thoughts on how to specifically treat the mauve self heal would be very welcome

    It is a nonsense if you don't want it and not the easiest to be rid of, either hand weed it out or use a selective lawn weed killer which can take at a couple of applications.

    Big thanks Perki.....I have tried hand weeding but so much of this weed I make no real impression.
    Would be great to ID which selective lawn weed killer to use as general one had no effect.

    I use Resolva which makes a product specifically for use in lawns. It's also very quick, which is much better.
    I haven't used it on prunella, as I like it and it's only in a little corner, but I do have buttercups and dandelions and it's brilliant for that. 
    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

    Thanks....I can see why you like the flower. Unfortunately it is rather taking over the lawn here.
    I will look at the specific Resolver product for the lawn you mention.

    It comes in a light green bottle, as opposed to the blue one for the standard weedkiller  :)

    It's readily available - even DIY places etc.

    Just need a day or so forecast dry weather.

    I love Prunella in my lawn, I even bought plug plants to get it going!
