Is this pyracantha scab?

    Can't it just!

    When I redesigned our garden, I dedicated quite a lot of space to planting as I thought I'd maybe enjoy gardening. Not so much at the moment! Fortunately the affected leaves on the crab apple are limited; presumably this is another case of 'remove the damaged ones, keep an eye on the rest'?

    Difficult to say. When I grew apples, we never had to worry about foliage getting fried in summer!  :D
    I'd be inclined to just leave them and see how things go, but there might be something else going on there.
    Might be worth doing a few photos from further away, and then do a new thread for it. Include these pix. Someone more experienced with fruit trees will be able to offer better advice, and treatment if needed.  :)
    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....



    I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
