‘Wildflower’ garden help.

Anyone have any tips and advice on how to make this look somewhat more presentable?

It looks pretty attractive to me; a success I'd say. What is bothering you about it?

  • I have an area a similar size dedicated to wildflowers. I learnt very early on that it will never look neat and tidy so it's best to just embrace the chaos! It's 'wild' after all. A couple of small things I do to just try and keep it looking its best, is deadheading and removing any brown/dying/dead growth.

You might want to add a lot of poppy seed in September - field poppies to add some colour. But yes, it looks very successful to me.

A couple of years ago in Wales we noticed that the road verges and roundabouts were all sown with wildflowers of different heights and colours.
    Amazing sight.
