Unknown insect

Anyone know what this small insect is? The outside of my house and garden has loads of them at present

    looks like a mosquito, my gardens always full of them, i vacuum them from my patio lol

    It looks like one of the close relatives to mosquitos. These are non-biting though. There's a few similar types so hard to tell specifically.
    If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.
