I echo what @Dovefromabove has said.
I also agree with @Pianoplayer's and @amancalledgeorge's posts. The only other thing I'd add is that, as the trees will be in round pots, and yours are square, just make sure you tease out the roots a little bit before planting. That will help them get out into the surrounding soil. A good soaking before and after planting too, and be very vigilant with that, especially for the next few months until they settle in.  :)
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

A pic of plant in existing pot with your square container next to it will help folk give you better advice. I assume what you have is "standard red robin" which has a single stem of around 1m tall.

I don't understand. What do you mean by Bay if they are Red Robin?
They are shaped like Bay trees sorry for confusion.

I understand! You mean standard bays. All now clear.
  • That's the pot in the containers?

Iff the roots are filling the round pot  you’ll need something bigger, the square pot is much the same size.   You’ll need to pot again next year if you use that one.
Gardening on the wild, windy west side of Dartmoor.
