Zantedeschia aethiopica

 I had two Zantedeschia aethiopica in large pots and they flowered very well, got too big for pots so I planted them in garden in a site where they only get early morning sun. This year one died off and the other looks sick and did not flower. 
Where did I go wrong - would it be worth digging up and put in pot again?

    they can "die back" to their bases, settle down and regrow. Some of mine in pots did it when I'd let them dry out, oops. 
    keep warering and I reckon they'll bounce back
