I planted some small supermarket bought potatoes that had sprouted in a raised bed. Never grown potatoes before and was just experimenting. Really healthy looking plants and a decent size and crop of potatoes but one of the stems have strange growths on them that I can’t find out about on an internet search. Does anyone know what they are?
It may be potatoes forming on the stems above ground; typically they are formed underground from stolons but the stems can also produce potatoes, possibly after injury or fungus infection (https://edepot.wur.nl/383688)
