What type are you growing? @Linda240

Maybe you have a plant that produces both male and female flowers.
The male flowers appear first and the female flowers appear a little while later.

Most greenhouse varieties these days are bred to create plants that are all female and do not need a male flower to set fruit (F1 varieties), but there are still plenty of seeds that produce male, then female flowers.
I think the only thing you can do is wait and see what happens

Thank you, that's probably the answer as look Healthy enough...I need to be more patient and check next time for the F1 variety!!

My cucumbers are fruiting now, but they were a bit late this year, I think due to the prolonged cold conditions earlier on. It wasn’t cold enough to harm my plants, but lots of them are later than usual, especially tomatoes, aubergines and cucumbers. Maybe yours are the same.
Carmarthenshire (mild, wet, windy). Loam over shale, very slightly sloping, so free draining. Mildly acidic or neutral.

Perhaps you could take a look and advise too @BobTheGardener, @Pete.8 and @Emerion, although I've suggested something similar re later because of weather etc.
