    Our Fat Hen has broader leaves.  Hard to say with a plant lying limp on the ground.  Can you take a pic of some you haven't pulled yet?

    It's Common Knotweed ... a common weed of wasteland and agricultural areas, freshly dug ground etc.  
    Nothing to do with Japanese Knotweed despite the name.
