Rosebush changed colour

I am a novice gardener but learning all the time! 😊  I have had a rosebush for about 4 years against a north facing wall in my front garden. Im ashamed to say that in those four years it has been terribly neglected. Even had wheèlie bins in front of it! However in spring i cut it right back, dug it up and put it in a large pot with some horse manure. Its now in my back garden. What puzzles me is im almost certain it was always a pale yellow in pŕevious years. Im not complaining as its absolutely  beautiful! Just wondering if im losing my mind! 🤔
