Hi, Have I left it too late to cut back this Crane’s Bill and should I just leave it now? Thanks

I only cut mine right back to the ground just over a week ago and plenty of new growth already - go for it!

Which Crane's Bill? If you mean a hardy geranium there are many different ones which flower at different times.
If yours has finished flowering and its leaves look tatty I would cut it back, most regrow and look better, may even produce more flowers.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

Agree, if you shear it over now and give it a good drink, new leaves will appear within a few weeks.

No. Not needed. Just water.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
