Somethings digging holes in my garden

Does anyone know what's digging these holes in my garden? 

I like in South East London if that's any help.

    I rather think that the culprit is a rat 🐀

    Hmmm nope … sorry … 
    I’m a farmer’s daughter and former smallholder …  that’s the work of an uncute rat. 😠
