My Hebe doesn't flower any more

I have a Hebe that is about 6 years old, it's a bit leggy and I have never pruned it but on the whole it looks quite healthy. I don't remember which variety it is so I have attached a photo I took a couple of weeks ago when an Elephant Hawk Moth was using it for a rest stop.

My concern is that it has shown no signs of even trying to flower either this year or last. Can anyone suggest what I might do to encourage it to flower again.

Thanks

It might be due to you never pruning it. They benefit from a light annual pruning at the tips to encourage branching. I would trim them back a bit now, and they may flower in late autumn for you. Do also water them during the prolonged dry and hot weather, as some shrubs will not perform if they are suffering from drought/stress.

Thank you. I'll give it a trim and see what happens.
