When to feed my shrubs

Hi guys I planted lots of shrubs last year as a first time gardener, now I have mostly hydrangeas,as I know feeding them is not ideal really but I also have a burning bush, and a black lace sambuca and some butterfly bushes when should I be looking.to feed them as they’re growing very well not winter has passed or should I just leave them be ???

If your soil is reasonable then they probably don't need anything.
I have a habit of chucking a small handful of blood, fish and bone around just about everything in the Spring just to help things along. Then add a mulch.
The sambucus will grow like crazy anyway as will the Buddleia - I'm not sure what the burning bush is as there are several plants known by the same name
Hydrangeas just need to have to soil kept moist around them esp. in hot weather but some BFB in Spring will also help.
The best thing for your shrubs is a mulch of compost in the Spring to keep the soil around them healthy
