What’s doing this to my red pepper plant?

Hi there
Hoping someone can help. I have noticed some light green fungus type stuff on the underside of the leaves on my red pepper plant. Does anyone know what is causing this? I deliberately kept this plant indoors to avoid pests but I still have issues 😫
Any advice much appreciated. TIA

I think it may be Oedema/Edema which is the result of too much watering.
If it is, it's not a disease, just a reaction to too much water.

The only other thing I'm aware of that makes similar marks is blister mites, but I don't think they affect peppers

PS- just saw this pic which may confirm Oedema

Hi Bob, It's Oedema (aka Edema), and happens when the plant takes up more water than it can cope with.  Over-watering is the most likely cause, especially if the atmosphere around the plant is humid.  You could try cutting-down on the watering and increase ventilation around the plant if you can.  I only water my peppers when the top 2 inches of compost are dry.

Thanks very much for this! I’m glad to hear it’s nothing serious. I was only watering it one or twice a week but since it’s about 28° in my conservatory and it’s bearing fruit now I thought it may need a bit more water
Thank you so much for taking the time to help me with this 😀👍
