It’s lovely here today - but late twenties is my limit.  Will be spending tomorrow inside with the curtains closed.  Thanks for all the tips - I’ll be putting them into practice.

I know more folk who are loving the good weather than hating it.
The beaches are rammed with folk who seem to be loving it
If the temperature does go above normal body temp, it will become a serious risk and I think most people not acclimatised will find it uncomfortable. At the beach, the chances are it won't be as hot. But it's too exposed there for a fair skinned person like me - I need trees and shade  B)
They may well be loving it … for now … it’ll be interesting to see the numbers for A&E s in the southwest by the end of the week.

I’m going to sit with my feet in a bowl of cool water after lunch …

Great minds think alike! I'm working today (and tomorrow) at home and I've got a washing-up bowl (a new clean one) of cold water on an old towel under my desk for dunking my feet. It's remarkably effective as well as invisible on Zoom, Teams etc :).

I'm off to toast gently in the garden.
Lovely breeze so I won't get all sweaty.

Just seen the forecast for tomorrow. Orkney, Shetland and the Western Isles are looking appealing. Cornwall looks pleasant tomorrow too, lucky people down there.
