Seed ID From Dried flower Pod

Hi all,

Can anyone identify what the plant that the following seeds are from?

My partner believes they may be from bluebells.

    I think they may be nigella seeds.

    They are nigella or often called ‘love in a mist’ looks like to me. Very pretty blue flowers that spread by seeding and before you know it the garden is full of them. Scatter with care !

    Apologies for dissenting, but I don't think those are nigella. Nigella seed pods are one large pod on each stem/side stem, rather alternating flowers/pods along one stem like this. I think your partner could be right with bluebell.

    Nigellas have a quite distinctive veining on them too. I just removed some of mine a few days ago or I could have taken a pic   :)
    Those aren't the right shape anyway for nigella.
    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
