Two wasp nests - DIY or professionals?

    @January Man How about some foaming oven cleaner? Should engulf the nest without needing to run away. Definitely at night though, so that they're sleepy enough not to escape and get you.
    Or that expanding foam stuff, but oven cleaner is cheaper and should wash off your hose easier than getting the remainder of the hardened foam off.

    Good thinking @Fairygirl I was going to blast it from a distance, but you're right, there would be a lot of waste.  With your method I would be able to waste less and use it for further treatments, or on other nests in the future.

    The trouble with that?  My partner will then expect me to clean the oven afterwards too!  Apparently oven cleaning is another of her allergies....

    Yes - but you'll have used it all.....
    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
