It may just be the shock of transplanting that's caused it. As long as it's planted at the same depth as the original pot it should be okay. Peonies need to be planted at a very shallow depth, ideally in the ground, but it should be fine for a year or two with luck . Hopefully it will have picked up in a day or so .
If it's in a very hot site at the moment, just move it somewhere more protected, with a little bit of semi shade, until it picks up. Although they like sun, it's a very small plant, and it takes while for them to establish and mature, so better to protect it for the next few months. It'll then be fine. It'll need a much bigger pot as it matures, or ideally planted out as @AnniD says.
