    Look at the RHS link I gave you and select the persicaria you like best and then it will tell you about the conditions it likes.

    I'm afraid the link doesn't work for me. I went direct to the site and chose the one which looked nearest to the one I think it is, and it says sun or partial shade. Which means I have to choose, and I don't know which to go for.

    Try one or t'other and if it doesn't do as well as you'd hoped, move it the next autumn.
