Two Hurdles with Zantedeschia 'Memories' (Arum lily 'Memories') - Soil & Overwinter
I think I've been a bit too much "go with feeling/first sight" in terms of buying plants. Went to local nursery to buy compost but fell in love with this plant Arum Lily "Memories". Its look is so stunning and immediately captured my heartbeat!
Until i brought it home, I then realised I have two hurdles:
1. Soil - it needs very wet soil. Apparently better off in bog garden or pond. I just have a normal garden with normal soil. How can I modify the soil condition locally for this plant?
2. Overwinter - It's a tender plant. Shootgardening basically says either treat it as an annual (leave it to die in winter) or bring indoors. I don't have the space to bring inside. I might invest in a coldframe. Would that be ok to store it in winter? I couldn't find any specific overwintering information online for this variant. Can someone help please?
