Climbing plants for shaded wall.
I have a part of the garden behind the sitting are that is crying for plants. It is a shaded wall and as you can see on the photo not much room for planting so ideal will like to grow in containers. What can you suggest?

But not clematis montana, too big for a pot.
Not montanas [ even in the ground] as already said. They get very big anyway and could swamp that fence unless you're very careful with training it in.
I wouldn't plant H.petiolaris for that reason either. It becomes vary large, assuming it would establish, and certainly wouldn't be happy in a pot.
