Please save my Prunus incisa 'Kojo-no-mai'

My first venture into gardening was with a small cherry blossom tree. I bought it in April whilst it was in bloom.
I planted it in the ground a couple of months ago and it now appears to be very dead!
I’ve transplanted it into a pot today as I really want to try and save it. I added Empathy Rootgrow Mycorrhizal Fungi and Gro-Sure Farm Yard Manure to the compost in the hope of reviving it somehow and I’ve gave it a good water.
The last picture shows some signs of life with a few tiny green shoots.
Any help or tips to save this would be greatly appreciated!
