Oxalis triangularis / false shamrock - strrrraaaaaange behaviour!

New one on me, this.



Note the 2 leaves growing through the pot drainage holes!  A week ago, a flower was doing this too.  Any ideas why? :)

    It has probably formed an offset which has found the drainage holes in its attempt to find light - the soil above may be chock full of roots.  When it goes dormant, it would be worth re-potting, and you can remove any offsets and use them to make more plants. :)

    Do you think it would complain if I repotted now?  I was given it a couple of years ago, and it obviously needs it.

    It might be difficult to separate them while in growth without cause a lot of root damage, but it's fine to re-pot them now.  There are some tips here:

    A trowel in the hand is worth a thousand lost under a bush.
