It could be down to over or under watering, or possibly leaf scorch if the weather has been hot and sunny.
    Is it recently planted?

A photo would help with advice too @mccarthymau . Click on the icon that looks like a hill, and follow the instructions. Keep the pic small so that it loads easily -under 1MB is best   :)
I'd agree with @AnniD though - most problems with browning flowers [or bracts in this case] are down to watering or hot sun.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

It looks very sickly as well as sunburnt. They like sun but are best with a little bit of shelter from other planting too.
What's the soil like where it's growing? It may be lacking heart and nutrition.
Does it get enough moisture? I can see a conifer nearby. They suck up a lot of moisture [as well as nutrition] so it's possibly dehydrated too. If it's recently planted, it will also need a lot of watering till well established.
