Mid-July Veg Planting

Hi all, having suffered very badly with tomato blight (losing about 12 plants today), I’m looking for something straightforward to grow in the empty space in my allotment and cheer me up! I’ve got clay soil (though I’ve been working on it with sand and compost the last few years) and as could be guessed, right now it’s pretty wet and heavy. What should I sow direct for a crop this year? Any thoughts welcomed ☺️

Oriental greens like pak choi and mizuna. You can still plant potatoes for a very late crop, if you can find the seed pots. Fast growing kale, like cavolo nero. Chard.

Peas are great, and still time for a crop.
