Nest for Swallows

  You see them nesting in all kinds of small shelters from porches to bus shelters. The main thing is to be safe from weather and predators. Could you make something similar even if it's just a porch in front of the garage?

  I have seen some nest boxes that look a bit like wall uplights but wasn't sure if they would only go in more enclosed spaces. We have a porch that we could avoid during nesting so that's an idea and don't mind trying to make something.
