Mystery flower!
in Plants
Hi,
I’m new to this forum and I’m hoping someone can help me to identify this plant. I ordered it and an elephant’s ear plant online last year. The elephant’s ear went mad and this sat as a small clump of leaves doing nothing. This year it suddenly decided to grow to about 60cms (2 feet in old money) and I noticed flower buds. Within the last week or so (= July - southern Scotland “summer” so the rain is warmer) these beautiful bell shaped purple flowers appeared with tiny white hairs inside the flower.
I’ve hunted for the old email confirmation but it must have gone to the Great Rest Home in the sky for useful emails. I may have grown it from seed in the summer house - can’t remember.
Can anyone help?
