Does anyone know if this is being caused by a virus?

2 weeks ago this was a dark green thriving courgette. Looking at the internet it looks like it got cucumber mosaic virus and now it’s also been spread to other plants like the beans below.

    It needs to be in the ground, they grow very big, I plant mine about 3’ apart.

    I agree with @lyn … squashes/courgettes need a huge amount of space.

    But he wants to get bigger ... and bigger ... and bigger ... and produce lots and lots of flowers and fruit ... and he can't do that if he's a Bonsai courgette plant  ;)
