Wrongly named dahlia

BiljeBilje Posts: 811
In the Spring I ordered three Creme de Cassis dahlia tubers, a purple/ white variety. Well they grew well and have flowered but they’re bright orange!
Can anyone identify the variety? Many thanks if you can. Please excuse weeds and slug holes.
I ordered them from Thompson and Morgan and after contacting them they offered a refund almost immediately. Good service.

Thank you, the colour looks just right, they certainly aren’t dinner plate size as yet but are big. I’d never have bought them but they are growing on me

I bought a creme de cassis this year too, thought they look so pretty.  Mine is growing good but I am a bit annoyed at myself, as I was convinced I had planted it in my border, yet it's actually turned out to be one I've put in a rubbish old pot as I thought it was one from last year I didn't like that much  :D

Well Crazy we’ve all done that 😄. I put two spare My Love (white cactus) in pots as I couldn’t bear to waste them…they are doing fine but take massive amounts of watering, their leaves act like umbrellas in the rain.
so next year a new problem, where do I put 3+ Motto and I’ll need to rebuy  my wanted Creme de Cassis.
