Not dragonflies but Cockchafers...........used to be inundated with them flying around in the evenings and bumping into windows. Noisy little beggars but interesting to watch. That was a good 20 years ago and not come across them since. No sizeable pond here so no Dragonflies either
I think I could catch the b*gger quite easily with a net now @Pete.8 He's been a permanent fixture for about 18 months. Comes up the steps at the back door for his lunch, and chases the others away if they come too near it. I had dragonflies now and again when I lived round the corner from here. Hopefully get some again. I live across the road from a small NT garden and there'll be loads in there.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
