Struggling with finding a bistro set for decking!?

Hi. Hoping for some ideas or help please! We have a balcony with decking which I have restored with lovely plants, lighting etc. To finish it I want to add a simple bistro set of table and 2 chairs, but the problem is the decking slats have gaps between them and normal chair legs or table legs will fall into the gaps when moved. This surely must be a common problem with decking, has anyone got any ideas how I could overcome this!? Thank you.

Hi. Yes I have thought about that and looked at chair feet. Maybe rubber feet rather than wooden might be the best idea, as long as I could find some that would fit the feet of the table and chairs and not fall through the decking. Yikes!

Get a set of those carpet caster cup thingies you put under wheels or furniture feet to stop them sinking into carpet.

Just make sure that there isn't a large piece of wood or something over the decking for chairs and tables to sit on, as the decking wood might rot.

Caster protectors sound like a good idea. Just move tables and chairs around a bit and put preservative on the decking once a year.

Yes I think you are right, something like that will do the trick. Just googled it and found a web site that seem to do every single possible option. Will give them a call in the morning, thanks both.
