Pansies drooping

Hi my pansies have started drooping, they were in full bloom and now they look weak. They have been watered as usual. Is this natural or have they come to an end. Any advice would be great. Thanks

I'd suspect that's a lack of water. Pansies need quite a lot, and although many types can flower themselves to death,  in containers, there's less compost/soil once they get quite big and bushy, and therefore there's less moisture and nutrition available to them, so they need a bit of help to keep them going.
That gets magnified if they're getting a fair bit of sun and/or wind drying them out too, and the ones on the wall could be getting a lot of extra heat from it, which will affect them. They prefer a slightly cooler location to keep them going for longer.

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

If it helps, I have to water mine every day even when it has rained.

Mine have flowered no stop since last summer. They didn’t even have a break over winter.
  • Thankyou, both of you I have give them a really big drink tonight and deadheaded them. Thanks for your advice
