Winter Blues

My friend suffers a bit with the Winter Blues and wants me to advise her what she can start off and tend over the Winter in her conservatory so i said i would ask the experts.

Just a few veg to keep her chipper.

    The cut and come again salad leaves are always worth a go.  Pots or troughs with sufficient light.  There are a number of different types - hot and spicy or mild and green.
    Depends on the weather of course and where your friend lives but you can keep them going for all but the really cold months.

    Does she have any wintering flowering plants in her garden that might keep it looking and feeling more cheerful over winter?
