Any ideas what this shrub is?

Does anyone know what this shrub is? It appeared in a flower bed and I need to decide whether to keep or not. Thanks :)

    I've got one of them. I've put it in a pot to wait and see.

    Hmm - I wonder if it is field maple?  I have one that inserted itself between something else that grew too big and hid it for a few years and is now removed and my philadelphus. It is really quite vigorous and wants to be a tree (it can't - it has an outbuilding behind it) so I cut it back every so often but keep it as I do quite like the dark leaves behind the lime green philadelphus. 
    Gardening in East Suffolk on dry sandy soil.

    I think it's a field maple. I would pull it up.
    Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

    I think it looks more like a Guelder Rose.

    Many thanks everyone for your help and suggestions :) . Tricky, isn't it!? 
    Descriptions I've found of the field maple leaf point out that it is five-lobed, while this is three-lobed. So, perhaps it is a guelder rose?
    In any event, I think I'll try and transplant it to my allotment and add it to the hedge there.

    Field maples don't have that slight serration to the foliage either, that your photos show. They're smooth. 
    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

    I meant to say, I would agree it's the Viburnum already mentioned. Guelder rose. The more pronounced veining on the leaves is another indicator that it isn't a field maple. 
    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

    Definitely guelder rose.
    Enjoyed by the birds for the fruit, flowers lovely and autumn colour great.
    Can become BIG.
