Apples rotting

Hi everyone.

I have a 4 year old Lord Lambourne apple tree on semi vigorous rootstock. The tree suffers from lots of aphid damage attacking the new shoots and leaves, but is otherwise healthy and for the last 3 years fruit have set.

I thinned out some fruit today and cut them open just for interest and found that lots appear to be rotting even though they look good from the outside. Last year I think the same thing happened. Does anyone know what's going on?

Not sure but it is really early for fruit to have developed well.

Our Lord Lambourne is still in very early fruit stage and we hope that all will be ok when they develop and mature.

I have read that if the apple moth grub gets into it , it kills the pip causing the apples to ripen faster. Do hope my heavily laden apple tree ( for the first time as its only 5 yo) a duo golden delicious and elstar will continue to grow them slowly.😁
