Carrot thinning

Hi everyone

I'm growing carrots this year. I’m a newb to gardening and was hoping you could advise on thinning my carrots. How much would you thin these out? Would you take out a quarter, half, none?

Re: the depth of the pot - They’re Paris Market carrots, so they’re extremely short nubbish carrots

Thanks!

I would thin them out to about an inch or two apart.  You can just use a pair of scissors to trim the excess to the soil level.. sometimes pulling them out disturbed the others around them.  See if they pull out easily without removing the patch of soil.

In ground you would thin them more.. but being raised up like that and in compost, they should be fine a bit more crowded.
