    Pete has reinforced what I said about the top leaves,   Give them a bit longer,  the weather seems to be changing, it’s very cold here today,  last week was too hot to work out in it.

    I don't know where I am with this weather either!

    Yes I'll give them this year as a test but I'll see. Happy to take any recommendations for another bush variety to try in place of them next year?

    I grew Maskotka a few years ago and thought that was good.

    I always grow Roma, that’s a bush type but I keep them in the GH,  I could never expect Italian style weather here. 🌞 
    In fact, none of them grow well outside, it’s only been this past couple of years I’ve tried, my dad always said you can’t grow them outside,  now he’s gone I thought I’d try and prove him wrong,   Moral is...... never argue with the old time gardeners😀
