I have a sorbaria sem which has recently come into flower and is getting a lot of attention. I managed to ID one beetle on there as a thick legged flower beetle but the other two are a bit of a mystery. Googling for black and white beetle throws up a lot of results and I didn't even bother trying a search for black beetle 😆




There are a lot of the black and white beetles all over the sorbaria, are they friends or foes?

    Carpet beetles. They're friends but they make terrible house guests. 
    If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.

    Not sure I like having these around, even just in the garden 😬 Fortunately we're not ones for keeping windows open!
