I picked up this berberis maria for 20p at my local garden centre. It isnt looking too healthy hence the price. I wondered if anyone could tell me how to rejuvenate it or is it passed help? Many thanks Lee

It looks a bit over potted though. Ideally, a pot just big enough to accommodate the rootball plus about an inch or so extra right round, would be enough, and avoids a stressed plant sitting in excess moisture for too long, but gives enough sustenance to let it get back on it's feet.
I don't know what you've used to pot it up with, but any compost will do for this year. If you want to keep it potted long term rather than planting out [assuming it recovers] it'll need a soil based medium rather than just compost.
Good luck - hope it comes away for you, although at least at that price it's not a huge loss if it doesn't!
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
A good result for you if it starts producing some new foliage in the next month or two though
