Asiatic lily
Until this year my lillies in pots came back every time but this year one pot did not produce anything but a few leaves, my query is not why but is there any point trying for next year or should I just dispose of them?

You'll get small offshoots as well, and those will grow on to become new plants. Lilies bulk up quite readily, and you'll have loads of new plants for future, so it's a necessary job every few years when they're potted.

I've just been looking at some of mine - all bought as 'on their last legs' bulbs about 7 years ago. Been divided and planted in beds, or repotted. The dark reds are really pretty just now, and the white ones are about to open and will look fairly splendid soon
