Monstera discolouration near midrib of leaf

Hi all,
I have a fairly well established monstera plant, but my two newest large leaves have begun to discolour next to the midrib in the centre of the leaf, and the discolouration is slowing spreading along the veins.

The rest of the plant still looks really healthy with new growth coming through.

can anyone help with what caused this and what I should do?

Does the sun shine in that window?
It looks to me as if it is being affected by the uv in sunlight, as it is the new leaves which are thinner and facing the light that are affected.
Monsteras don't need direct light - mine is quite happy and puts on new leaves each year in quite a dark corner. It gets only indirect light from a window behind and another to the side of it. If you move your plant further back from the window it should prevent any further damage and with luck the young leaves may recover.
