There is one that has more purple and gold called bicolour. They are crosses between globosa and davidii.
I also have a Buddleja alternifolia. It has long arching sprays of purple, looks a bit like a firework going off. Most people do not recognise it as a buddleja.
I have always loved it, I give it a good chop in March, back to the stump (this is when I take cuttings, right or wrong it aways works) and it comes back lovely every year. Flowers for ages too.
