We have them in the gaps in our conservatory roof, where they unfortunately kill bees/butterflies/hoverflies/dragonflies, daily I'm trying to remove their leftovers from the roof blinds. All spiders bite,I don't do well with bee stings, very bad with ants, but the blighters see you,and the vacuum cleaner coming

They do @Nanny Beach . I think I have one in my kitchen, but the moment I move towards it, the bugger dives behind the boiler. They are very twitchy. I have had a lot of spiders in my house and generally don't mind them, but over the past nine years of being here I have a got a lot of spider bites (double puncture marks) mostly while asleep.  I like spiders and have wanted their help in getting a handle on the clothes moth problem. The big skinny ones are fine (techinal term) but aggressive ones that bite my neck in the night are not ok.

I keep my upstairs windows open for all the summer so everything wanders in.

    🤷🏾
