    Ok so apparently i am one of those newbies who cant post a picture...I have  really tried  :(

    Use the postcard icon above the reply box and make sure you have re-sized your image to less than 2mb.  There is a size limit here so bigger pics won't load and, as a special quirk, if the site thinks the photo needs cropping, it loads it sideways.
