Yes - chives. Very leggy ones

Yes, chives. Edible, nice chopped into an omelette or cheese on toast.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

....chopped through some tomatoes cubed, fry in a little olive oil and spread on lightly toasted bread. Good with a glass of chilled white or rosé. I do this using (spring) onion tops. Good standby if people drop in around wine o'clock.
A good hoeing is worth two waterings.
